Product Description:

The Alpha remanufactured L61 shortblock utilizes the well rounded GEN 2 block as it's core. From our years of R&D we recommend using this block up to 450HP. Over this HP level we typically see block failure due to lack of strength in the number 4 cylinder gusseting. This is a stock remanufactured engine that will provide you years and years of Ecotec relaibility. 

Our prices includes a core charge, so no need to worry about shipment of your core.
